Launched in 2016, this federally funded initiative is administered by the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA). It aims to bring quality technology information and resources to all state-level WIOA partners advancing service alignment, data sharing, and data insights, ultimately improving program effectiveness.
Operations are overseen by a steering committee comprising federal and state partners representing workforce, adult basic education, vocational rehabilitation, and welfare programs.
The Center has developed a suite of informational tools that expand understanding of market availability, encourage communication and collaboration across agencies, and inform purchase and build decisions.
The Procurement Portal - a compilation of technology-related procurements published by state workforce and WIOA partner agencies. These may be filtered based on users’ interests. Access to the Procurement Portal requires an account on the NASWA website.
The Solutions Marketplace is an online warehouse of state practices, virtual services tools, and available workforce technology products and services. It features an interactive experience for users to search and filter information based on their specific interests. Access to the Solutions Marketplace requires an account on the NASWA website.
The State Technology Profiles highlight the technology solutions currently used by state WIOA agencies, by program and function. In addition to a NASWA account access to the Profiles requires a special authorization received by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Workforce Technology Collection is a centralized repository for sharing relevant and current research, articles, and templates in an organized manner that allows for push notifications. The Collection is available to the public.
